Whilst walking along the southern side of London's embankment with Marina we saw a group of guys practising parkour aka free running. The guy in this shot, Dereck, told me that this was his first time, something that was hard to believe after seeing some of his jumps.
Recently I saw a documentary on the TV about this new craze and fought the temptation to break my neck. That doesn't mean that I won't ever try it, but today I had my camera to consider ;^).

That's the first time I've heard of this - funny idea. Maybe we should arrange for a parkour trip next time I'm in the UK? ;-)
Just after the first 'Jump London' documentary was aired we saw some young kids attempting it in Cambridge on some bollards - they were hilariously crap at it. Now the mention of 'Jump Cambridge' causes instant collapse into fits of laughter.
A fine picture.

I also saw the documentary and wished I was 15 years younger and several stone lighter!
