I had a fantastic, albeit cold, day today with Faisal (friskypics) and Chris (ckphotographer) around the Embankment in London. It was a good day, both socially and photographically. I have quite a few shots that I'll be posting over the next few days.

Canon EOS 20D, 18mm, f/16, 30sSec, ISO 200

Excellent blur on the Ferris wheel!

Very nice. What shutter speed on this one? I like the smooth water with the color reflections.

Absolutely wonderful. One of the best images of the wheel I've seen.

Would love to know how you caputured this shot. It's beautiful, and it clearly shows how London can really look at night. Love the reflections and hues.

Beautiful shot! My New Year's Resolution is to get out and do some night photography. It's one area I've not really explored yet. If I can get shots like this when I try, I'll be very happy.

Very nice, Stu! Love the blue lights along the bottom, and the reflection in the water. At first, when this picture came up on my screen, I thought it was a giant gold ring (like one you wear) lol. Silly me! Happy New Year!

It looks like the wheel is ready to go wild. Congrats!

wow, this is stunning, the clarity and the luminious color is really pleasing to the eye. Is that a shooting star I see? beautiful. I haven't shot at night in a while and this is inspirational. thanks!

Very nice shot Stuart. I like how this one came out. The quality of the camera shows through in this one. Was good to meet you, and maybe we will do so again in the future.

Hey, I saw an 0h-so-similar picture at friskyPics, and the realised why :-). Nice photoblog, keep up the work.

   Zishaan - January 7, 2005 07:53 PM

Truly one of the best picture of the eye I have seen. The motion transformed the wheel in a giant bicycle wheel and removed the spikes inside. Very cool.

These are some of the best photo's I have come across of London at night.
