This was taken today for my much overdue about page. As I read everyone else's about page I thought that I ought to start mine; and now I have started it. I stood in front of the window for light, hence the square highlights and after converting to b&w I made a curves adjustment to create the over exposed look.
This picture, unintentionally, reminds me of the cover of Jean Michel Jarre's album, Aero which I'm currently listening to.
I wish each and everyone one of you a very happy and prosperous New Year.

Great self portrait! It almost looks like a drawing.
Have a Happy and safe New Year.
This is very nice. I've been meaning to remove the eyes I use on my own about page, because I think they're a little too up-close-and-personal. But yours are really nice!! Very warm and inviting, and the black and white is very nice.
Awesome!!! I actually did think it was a drawing, and I thought to myself "Why did he take a picture of a picture?" and then I read about it, and low and behold, it's your actuall face (or lack there of...^_^). Very nice eyes, Stu!

love the use of extreme overexposure. this is very successful and captivating.

Fabulous self portrait. It strikes me as anonymous, and yet is strangely personal too.

Very graphicly designed composition. Nice idea! It's time to update my own about page self-portrait, and I'm dreading it.
