Whilst driving along the M1 motorway I saw the intense colours in my mirror. After pulling off I took a turning that ran parallel to the rainbow and jumped out into the rain with my camera.
Never before have I seen the complete arc of a rainbow; sadly my lens was not wide enough to capture it all from where I stood. I wish that I could have captured it exactly as I saw it.
Is this alone enough justification for the 10-22mm lens?

Since when do you need justification for a new lens? ;-) Very beautiful picture!
Yup - saddly this is just the justification that you should be looking at to go for the 10-20mm? (is that the Sigma f4-5.6 that I've been looking at?) I'm sure it will be put to as good use as this. This is a stunning shot.

Absolutely beautiful. I've never got my camera with me when I see a rainbow, so this is a really nice capture!

Stunning light against the darkness of the day. And of cause there is a perfect rainbow arc there too.
